The science behind full face Botox®
The muscles on the face generally pull either upward or downward. Botox® is most often used to target downward-pulling muscles to soften negative expressions. For a balanced and natural look, certain areas must be treated together. Neglecting this holistic approach can lead to unnatural expressions or even the formation of new creases and wrinkles in untreated areas.
These areas include:

Upper Face: Forehead, glabella (between the brows), and crow’s feet.

Lower Face: Chin (to smooth the "orange peel" texture), DAO (depressor anguli oris) muscle (to lift downward-turning mouth corners), and masseter muscles (for TMJ relief and jaw slimming).

Neck: Platysma muscles and bands
For a 40-year-old female, a full face Botox® average from 50 to 90 units depending on if they want to treat the masseter muscles. We could use the leftover on your platysma muscle for less visible vertical bands or along the jawline for a subtle neck lift. Or I make it into a solution for you to microneedle at home. At Hyline, you pay for the full 100 units and you will get all the medication.
