Dr. Rajani discusses why he chose PRF over PRP
Regenerative medicine
The difference between PRP and PRF
Regenerative medicine, as Dr. Rajani highlighted in this video, has been used for decades across various specialties with three primary functions: healing damaged tissue, promoting tissue growth, and calming inflammation.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a next-generation regenerative treatment derived from your own blood, designed to stimulate natural healing and tissue repair with its high concentration of platelets, fibrin, and growth factors. Unlike PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), PRF is created without additives, forming a fibrin matrix that allows for a slower, more sustained release of growth factors, enhancing its regenerative effects.
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is used in cosmetics for skin rejuvenation, addressing hair loss, and enhancing male and female sexual health by stimulating natural healing and regeneration.

If you're familiar with PRF, you might have heard of PRF EZgel, where plasma is transformed into a gel via a heat process and used as a "natural filler." While it sounds promising in theory, the potential benefits do not outweigh the increased risk of vascular occlusion (VO). We can discuss this in more detail during your consultation.
Different HA filler viscosity, the thicker it is, the higher change it may cause vascular occlusion

*Unused PRF will clog into a plug within 15-20 minutes, you will be provided with insulation bag and ice pack to bring home for a facial.
